Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast widely regarded as one of the greatest athletes. The 2016 Olympics were held at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became one of the U.S.'s first female gymnast ever to win 4 gold medals. Biles also took home the world title for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles is from Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. They were raised in the metropolitan areas of Houston. Simone first became interested in gymnastics when she was just six. Coach Aimee Borman invited her to Bannon's Gymnastix and they took them to an excursion. Biles won a gold in floor exercise and a bronze in vault at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the elite gymnastics in the year the year 2011. In less than two years, she had become the most successful athlete in her discipline. Biles stood out for her consistency in performance, vivacious character, as well as the difficulty of her routines in each of the four events including vault, bars with uneven surfaces, and the balance beam.
